A recent study demonstrated that a better quality of teaching is achieved when the teaching process is evaluated. One model addresses the quality of teaching by considering the teaching process but is still limited in practices. To overcome this problem, in this thesis, a Teaching Maturity (TeaM) model is created. It is derived from general teaching strategies and recommendations and has been verifieded by the university and school teachers who are also teaching informatics but not only. The TeaM model is evaluated with teachers at Universität Klagenfurt and teachers at some schools in Carinthia. The statistical results show the acceptance of the TeaM model by the university and school teachers, although limited to some practices.
